Pork, Pineapple & Peppers Noodle Bowl
Serves 4


I large, thick, boneless pork chop cooked, and sliced into thin slices
1 large, sweet onion, chopped into 1-inch pieces
3 stalks of celery chopped, into 1 inch pieces
1 green pepper, chopped into 1-inch pieces
1 red pepper, chopped into 1-inch pieces
1 can of pineapple chunks, 15 ounces (drained, reserving juice)
1 can bamboo shoots, 8 ounces
1 can bean sprouts, 14 ounces
sesame seed oil
2 tablespoons vegetable or peanut oil
salt & pepper
3 packages of Ramen noodles, cooked in water (do not use seasoning packets)

Reserved pineapple juice
1/2 cup barbeque sauce (add more to taste)
3-4 tablespoons, Tamari soy sauce

In a large, heated fry pan heat vegetable oil add chopped onions and celery. Cook until onions are translucent. Begin cooking ramen. Add peppers and cook for 6-8 minutes. Add pineapple and pork, continue to cook for 5 minutes Season with salt and pepper. Add sauce and cook for 2-3 minutes, until the ingredients are completely heated through.  Add ramen, and gently mix all of the ingredients and cook for 1-2 minutes. Drizzle with a few drops of sesame seed oil. Serve

  1. I think I’ll be trying this later this week but I’ll have to use chicken as I’m allergic to pork… sounds and looks delicious. Appreciate the share

      That’s the great secret of this recipe…and you’ve hit upon it~ You can use any type of meat and your choice, chicken, would be delicious!
