Annie’s Classic Dilled Egg Salad BLT’s
Weekends are busy times at the house and to make meals easier, we often make sandwiches, instead of a full lunch or dinner. This is my recipe for a Classic Dilled Egg Salad Sandwich BLT. Enjoy!

~Classic Dilled Egg Salad BLT~
Makes 2 sandwiches
Iceberg lettuce, washed and dried
4-5 hard-boiled eggs, roughly chopped
6 slices of baked bacon
1 thinly sliced tomato
2-3 tablespoons mayonnaise
3/4 teaspoon dried dillweed
4 slices white bread buttered & toasted
Add mayonnaise & dillweed to hard boiled eggs
Carefully mix ingredients together, so the eggs are chunky and not finely blended. Add a generous amount of freshly ground, black pepper.
Toast the bread, and lightly butter both slices
Add your lettuce
Add a generous spoonful or two of dilled egg salad
Top your dilled egg salad, with 3 pieces of baked bacon
Top with thinly sliced tomato
Slice it diagonally and serve!
My husband loved this sandwich served with a fresh cup of coffee, he called it a, “10-star BLT”, that has lots of flavor with the dilled egg salad, bacon, lettuce & tomato and is a more substantial meal than a regular BLT.
