James Jankovich~Steampunk Artist

The Art of James Jankovich
is in the genre of ‘Steampunk Art’, and has evolved over several decades. JJ writes about another influence in his art, the artist-Rodger Dean. Jim, has graciously given permission to post his work –thanks my friend!

“The Ironblimp look reminded me of old locomotives so a created “Ol’ 421” traveling through a winterish “pass”. I stole the concept of the floating chunk of earth (landmass) from one of the favorite artist’s of my youth Rodger Dean.”

“I recalled the story of the great race between a highly developed steam locomotive and a new fangled diesel so that led to the great race.  I guess from reading the stuff you found it could be dieselpunk.”
